CDL Owners the First 100 Years

Listing every owner of every team is almost an impossibility so listed to the right is each team and it's World Series history.  I will stick to current owners when discussing their past history.

Owner Mike DePrizio has had great success with 2 organizations.  Running the Royals from 1990-2037 and the Red Sox from 2038-2068.  With 15 trips to the World Series, Mike came away with 11 Championship banners.  Six with Kansas City and 5 with Boston.  Mike also had 15 straight 90 win seasons 2047-61 in which 10 of them he had 100+ wins.

In the NL, Robb Mayers scored 7 Championships with the Montreal Expos in his 80 year run with the team.

Playoff appearances over the last 50 seasons have the top 3 as Mike DePrizio 24, Terry Ladislas 22 and Robb Mayers 21.

Only 2 teams Oakland and Seattle are without that elusive title, but new A's owner Rich Callaghan who wears 6 Rings from his days in Detroit and Pittsburgh hopes to change the A's future.  Meanwhile in Seattle, rookie owner Eric Scholl hopes to turn around the franchise.

In the last 8,100 games (50 years) the Rockies GM Terry Ladislas has the most victories with 4407. Rounding out the top 3 is Montreal (Robb) 4350 and Mike's Red Sox with 4342.

I do have to mention one original owner that is not currently an owner Chuck Groening. In the early days Chuck's Giants were the dominant team in CDL as Chuck made numerous trips to the Series and racked up 7 titles.

Winning a Champioship in the CDL is no easy task, even the greatest of teams average a title every 10 years or so.  There are 9 current owners still looking for title #1 with Marlins owner Craig Eccles going through 47 years of waiting. There are also 8 owners with just 1 title to show for their tireless efforts to win that 2nd ring.  It's why we play the game, to win it all!
